The following are highlights of South African major media outlets on Tuesday.

-- The South African National Roads Agency Ltd (Sanral) is making an all-out effort to collect as much outstanding e-toll debt as possible ahead of its meeting in May with Moody's Investors Services.

Sanral, which is responsible for the maintenance and construction of national roads, will be assessed by Moody's over the next few months along with SA as a country, a number of other state-owned companies and government structures. (Business Day)

-- The African National Congress has rejected reports that it had agreed to support a Parliamentary probe into the alleged Gupta family influence over the government. (Mail & Guardian)

-- Up to 4, 000 striking Pikitup employees could be dismissed if they don't return to work soon. The workers were due to converge at the Joburg Metro Centre in Rissik Street Tuesday morning, where they have been hauled before disciplinary hearings.

As the Pikitup strike moves into its fourth week, the scene has been set for a major showdown as the City of Joburg starts to get tough with striking Pikitup workers. (The Star) Endit
