Thirteen searches were conducted Sunday morning in Belgium's anti-terror operation following March 22 Brussels attacks, Belgian federal prosecutor said.

DAMASCUS -- The Syrian army fully recaptured the ancient city of Palmyra in central Syria on Sunday, following days of intense battles against the Islamic State (IS) group, state-run TV said.
The Syrian army and its allied fighters destroyed the last position of the IS in Palmyra, and started combing the city to dismantle explosive devices, said the report. (Syria-Military)

SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir -- Four people were killed after a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said Sunday.

ISLAMABAD -- At least 10 people were killed and 30 others injured when a bomb hit a public park in Pakistan's eastern Lahore city on Sunday evening, local Urdu media reported.
Samaa News said that the explosion happened inside the motorbike parking stand located near the main gate of the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in the Lahore city, the capital of the country's east Punjab province. (Pakistan-Blast) Endi
