A Chinese national was among those killed in the serial terror attacks in Brussels, the Chinese embassy in Belgium confirmed Friday.

The victim who went missing since Tuesday has unfortunately fallen victim to the terror attacks, said the embassy after confirming the news with the emergency center of the Belgian Ministry of Interior and the Belgian Foreign Ministry. (Brussels-Terror Attacks-Chinese)

MOSCOW -- Visiting U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has called for constructive dialogue between the United States and Russia, local media reported Friday.

"We are working effectively even with differences to try to find a path forward. I think that is in the interests of the American people and the Russian people, as well as in the interests of history and the future," Kerry said in an exclusive interview with Russia's TASS news agency during his recent visit to Moscow. DAMASCUS -- The Syrian army fully captured the ancient citadel of the millennia-old oasis city of Palmyra on Friday, following intense battles against the Islamic State (IS) group, state news agency SANA reported.

The military forces captured the citadel after dealing heavy blows to the IS militants, who overran the city and raised their flag over the citadel last May, SANA said, citing a military source. (Syria-IS)
