Terrorist threat level lowered to 3 in Belgium

Xinhua, March 25, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Threat Analysis and Coordinating Body (Ocam) of Belgium decided to reduce the level of terrorist threat from 4 to 3, confirmed Thursday the Interior Minister Jan Jambon to local media.

During the National Security Council on Thursday night, Ocam decided to lower the threat level to 3, this means that the terrorist threat is considered "possible and probable," the minister said.

The Belgian authorities had decided to raise the level of the terrorist threat to the maximum 4 in the wake of Tuesday's bombings in Brussels. Enditem
