48 more bikers indicted for last year's shooting in Texas

Xinhua, March 24, 2016 Adjust font size:

Forty-eight more bikers have been indicted for last year's deadly shootout between two rival motorcycle gangs in Waco, Texas, ABC13 television reported Wednesday.

If convicted, those who are charged with engagement in organized criminal activity will face imprisonment of 15 years to life.

McLennan County District Attorney Abel Reyna did not rule out more indictments in what he called "an ongoing investigation."

The number of the bikers facing felony charges now rises to 154. Prosecutors in November indicted 106 of the 177 bikers arrested in the melee for engaging in organized crime.

On May 17, 2015, shooting broke out between two motorcycle clubs, leaving nine people dead and 20 others injured. Endi
