Spain coach Vicente del Bosque will make his penultimate experiment before naming his squad for the European Championships when Spain play Italy in a friendly game in northern Italian city of Udine on Thursday.
The game is a repeat of the 2012 European Championship finals, which Spain won 4-0 to retain the title they first won in 2008.
Spain will be without Barcelona midfield duo of Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta, who both have minor injuries, as does Chelsea forward Diego Costa.
Costa's absence should give a chance to Athletic Club Bilbao striker, Aritz Aduriz to make just his second international appearance aged 35-year old thanks to a season which has seen him score 31 goals in all competitions this season.
Aduriz will compete with Alvaro Morata and Valencia's Paco Alcacer for a place in the starting 11, while Barca midfielder Sergi Roberto could be in with the chance of making his debut, either on Thursday or un Sunday's match away to Romania.
Italy coach Antonio Conte is likely to be the focus of as much attention as his players for the game after announcing he would be leaving his post after the European Championships, with Chelsea considered a possible destination.
Brazilian born midfielder, Jorginho is in line for a possible debut as if Fiorentina winger, Federico Bernadeschi, while former Barca midfielder Thiago Motta could also return to international action. Enditem
