Bangladesh, India inaugurate project of bilateral power, Internet bandwidth sharing

Bangladesh and India on Wednesday inaugurated a project of bilateral power and Internet bandwidth sharing.

The joint launching of the project was conducted from each other's capital by prime ministers of the two countries.

India supplies 100 MW of electricity to Bangladesh from its power plants in Tripura in northeastern India.

And Bangladesh from its Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited offers 10 GBPS Internet bandwidth to support India's third IIG in Agartala, the capital city of Tripura. Endit
