Leaders from Lancang-Mekong countries convene for cooperation

Leaders from six countries along the Lancang-Mekong River convened in China's Sanya on Wednesday to discuss future cooperation.

The first Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Leaders' Meeting, with a theme of "shared river, shared future", kicked off on Wednesday morning in Sanya of Hainan province.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong, Vice President of Myanmar Sai Mauk Kham, and Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh attended the meeting.

After the meeting, the leaders will witness the signing of several cooperation documents. Endi
