ALGIERS -- Algerian army troops on Monday killed six terrorists in El Oued province, 715 km southeast of Algiers, near the border with Tunisia, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

ANKARA -- Four soldiers of the Turkish security forces and one Turkish policeman were killed on Monday in attacks by the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) militants in southeastern Turkey, local NTV news broadcaster reported.
