The following are highlights of leading Nigerian media outlets on Sunday.

-- Few days after 34 construction workers were killed in a building collapse in the Lekki area of Lagos, another occurred on Saturday at the Mile 12 area, killing at least one person. (The Guardian)

-- The Chairman of Nigeria's House of Representatives committee on finance, Abdulmumin Jibrin, believes the executive arm of government will learn from the mistakes in the 2016 Budget.

Jibrin also disclosed that the budget could be laid before the National Assembly and passed next week, noting that some of the problems in the budget were understandable because "this is the first time Nigeria would have a transition, not only from one President to the other, but also from one political party to another".
