Kyrgyz president expresses condolences to Russia crash victims

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev expressed deep condolences on Saturday to the families of the victims who died in a plane crash earlier in the day in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, which killed all 62 people aboard.
In a presidential press release, Atambayev expressed his deep condolences and sincere sympathy to the victims' families in the tragedy and to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
A Kyrgyz citizen named Nasirdinova Jyldyz, born in 1988, was among the dead, and the other victims included citizens from Azerbaijan, India, Russia and Ukraine, according to the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.
A Boeing 737-800 passenger plane en route from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, to Rostov-on-Don in Russia's southwestern Rostov region, crashed Saturday at the Russian city's airport, killing all 55 passengers and seven crew members aboard, according to the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The short- to medium-range airliner fell near the left of the runway while making a second landing attempt, amid poor visibility conditions caused by heavy rains at about 03:50 Moscow time (0050 GMT). Endi
