1st LD: DPRK fires ballistic missile: media report

he Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Friday fired a ballistic missile into the East Sea, Yonhap news agency quoted the South Korean military as reporting.

The missile was fired around 5: 55 local time from the western area of Sukchun and it flew about 800 kilometers across the DPRK before it fell into waters off the country's east coast, the military said.

The missile was believed to be a Rodong missile, the military said. Endit
