Bayer Leverkusen's Oemer Toprak ruled out with thigh injury

Xinhua, March 16, 2016 Adjust font size:

Bayer Leverkusen's Oemer Toprak will miss the next two games after suffering a thigh injury, the "Werkself" confirmed on Tuesday.

Oemer Toprak, who just returned from a three-week injury break on Sunday, will spend the next two weeks at the sidelines again, after suffering torn hamstring during Leverkusen's 1-0 win over Hamburg.

The Turkish international will therefore miss the UEFA Europa League last-16 second leg clash against Villareal CF and the Bundesliga encounter at Stuttgart on Saturday.

The "Werkself" occupy currently the 7th place of the Bundesliga standings. They sit one point adrift of the top six and an UEFA Europa League berth. Endit
