Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with visiting former Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski on Tuesday, pledging to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

Li said China, in the first year of its 13th five-year plan, will aspire to achieve innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development to create new impetus for global economic development.

China is willing to work with Poland to integrate development strategies, enhance political mutual trust, promote cooperation in trade, investment, industrial capacity and personnel exchanges, he said.

Komorowski said Poland stands ready to participate in the Belt and Road Initiative and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to strengthen Poland-China and Europe-China ties. Endi
