Ten-man Henan beat Chongqing 1-0 in Chinese Super League

Despite one player being sent off, Henan Jianye beat Chongqing Lifan 1-0 on road on Sunday and enjoyed two-straight wins in the Chinese Super League (CSL) which is in the second round of the 2016 season.

Henan broke the deadlock in the 21st minute when Eddi Gomes scored from the corner. In the second half, Chongqing made some threatening attacks but missed several chances for the equalizer.

Henan's Feng Zhuoyi was shown the second yellow card and sent off in the 84th but the 10-man visitors maintained the lead to the end.

In the other match played on Sunday, substitute Mao Jianqing scored the winner and helped Shijiazhuang Ever Bright beat Hangzhou Greentown 1-0 at home. Endit
