12 Indian paramilitary troopers injured in landmine blast

At least 12 paramilitary troopers of India's Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were wounded Friday after their vehicle was hit by a landmine planted by militants in the central state of Chhattisgarh.

State-run broadcaster All India Radio ((AIR) reported that the explosion took place in village Kunta in Sukma district, 392 km south of Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh.

Three of the injured are under critical situation, said the report.

Media reported that the CRPF men were conducting combing operations in the forest area. Endit
