Morocco, Brazil set to boost economy-focussed bilateral ties

Morocco and Brazil are set to boost bilateral relations, particularly in the economic field, Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Viera said on Thursday.
"The discussions are in the final stages preceding the signing up of the Cooperation and Investment Facilitation Agreement," Viera told the press following his talks with Moroccan Foreign Minister Salaheddine Mezouar.
He also voiced his country' support to Morocco's presidency of the 22nd session of the UN climate meeting (COP22), which will be held on November 7-18 in Marrakech, and confirmed that President Dilma Rousseff will attend this important event.
For his part, Mezouar stressed that the two countries share the conviction that South-South Cooperation is a key element in the stability and reinforcement of global balance.
The Brazilian minster, who is on an official visit to Morocco, held talks with several Moroccan officials and co-chaired Morocco-Brazil Economic Forum. Endit
