Dollar in upper 112 yen level in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 112 yen level in Tokyo early Wednesday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.66-67 yen compared with 112.58-68 yen in New York and 112.94-95 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.0999-1001 dollars and 123.92-93 yen against 1.1005-1015 dollars and 123.96-124.06 yen in New York and 1.1034-1035 dollars and 124.62-66 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Enditem
