Art exhibition giving Australians understanding of HK Basic Law

Xinhua, March 8, 2016 Adjust font size:

Australians are getting a taste into the political history of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) via an art exhibition showcasing the formation of the Hong Kong Basic Law.

The HKSAR Sydney trade office has created an interactive art exhibition showcasing the historical background to the Basic Law and the path of its drafting from conception to implementation.

The office said it intends to enhance Australia's understanding of the document that has been in effect since Hong Kong's return to China in 1997.

The exhibition runs until Sunday, March 13. Endit
