Dollar in upper 113 yen range in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar was moving in the upper 113 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday morning, largely in line with levels seen late on Friday in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was changing hands at 113.85-87 yen compared with 113.74-84 yen in New York and 113.87-89 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0990-0992 dollars and 125.13-16 yen against 1.1003-1013 dollars and 125.18-28 yen in New York and 1.0950-0951 dollars and 124.69-73 yen in late afternoon trade on Friday. Endit
