SPP vows to protect private enterprises' rights

Xinhua, March 6, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) has issued a guideline outlining measures to help private enterprises avoid duty crimes that infringe on their rights.

Procuratorial agencies at all levels should provide judicial support to the development of the private economy and must cater to the needs of the sector's growth, according to the document.

Economic crimes that sabotage market order and harm the rights of private companies and entrepreneurs shall be subjected to charges and punishments, the guideline said.

It also urged prosecutors to enhance supervision of lawsuits concerning members of private sector.

Procuratorates nationwide should offer suggestions and advice for enterprises on how to avoid and control legal risks, said the SPP document. Endi
