China vows greater efforts in int'l industrial cooperation

Xinhua, March 6, 2016 Adjust font size:

China will step up exports of its advanced equipment and production capacity to countries joining the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative, a senior economic planning official said Sunday.

More detailed arrangement will be made to further implement established contracts and financial support will also be strengthened to promote the initiative, said Xu Shaoshi, head of the National Development and Reform Commission, at a press conference on the sidelines of the annual parliamentary session.

"We can expect genuine progress in railway construction and industrial capacity transfer," Xu said.

China saw sound achievement in international industrial cooperation last year, especially the exports of steel and non-ferrous metals capacity and cooperation on railway and nuclear power, Xu said. Endi
