Dollar in upper 113 yen range in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 113 yen range in early deals in Tokyo, largely in line with trading levels logged overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 113.65-66 yen compared with 113.65-75 yen in New York and 114.13-15 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0946-0947 dollars and 124.40-43 yen against 1.0951-0961 dollars and 124.53-63 yen in New York and 1.0869-0870 dollars and 124.05-09 yen in late trade on Thursday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
