1st LD Writethru: Two armed men rob jewelry shop near French justice ministry

Two gunmen robbed at midday Tuesday the Chopard jewelry shop located on the Place Vendome in Paris, not injuring anyone, local TV channel reported.

The two men, armed with a pistol and one or more grenades, entered the building around 12:30 p.m. local time, and then fled on foot, the French BFM TV reported, adding that the amount of loot is not known yet.

Search for the two men has started already, local media reported.

The Chopard jewelry shop is close to the French Ministry of Justice. Endit
