BiH, Ukraine sign security agreement to fight against terrorism

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Ukraine signed a security agreement to fight against organized crime and terrorism, local media reported on Monday.

BiH Security Minister Dragan Mektic held talks with Ukraine Ambassador to BiH Olexander Levchenko to discuss about bilateral cooperation in the field of security under the agreement.

The agreement, which had been signed by Ukraine, will enhance cooperation in the fight against all forms of crime, especially terrorism, organized crime, illegal trafficking of drugs and arms, money laundering, illegal migration and cybercrime.

It will improve efficiency for the two countries to jointly investigate and crack down on terrorism, local media reported.

According to BiH Security Ministry, several BiH citizens went to eastern regions of Ukraine to join the fighting. Enditem
