Ecuador to ease tourism visa requirements for Chinese citizens

Ecuador will lift visa requirements as from Tuesday for Chinese tourists, who stay for no more than 90 days, the country's Foreign Ministry announced Saturday.

"The decision was ... based on the excellent relations between Ecuador and China," the ministry said in a statement.

It added that the new measure would increase the flow of Chinese tourists to Ecuador and would benefit the country's tourism sector. Endi
