Anderson Silva loses UFC return

Xinhua, February 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

Former UFC world champion Anderson Silva lost on points against Michael Bisping in his return to the sport on Saturday.

The defeat continued Silva's poor form in the combat sport over the last two-and-a-half years.

In July 2013, he lost his world title belt to Chris Weidman, before breaking his leg in his next bout five months later.

Early last year, he was banned from the sport for a year for doping. Saturday was supposed to be his successful return to the octagon.

However, Bisping won by a unanimous decision, leaving Silva's UFC future in serious doubt. Endi
