Xinhua, February 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

A Turkish plane on Thursday made an unscheduled landing at Sarajevo International Airport to offload five drunk passengers.

The plane, operated by Turkish Pegasus Airlines and flying from Istanbul to Rome, landed at the Sarajevo airport at noon, local media reported.

The five passengers, all of them Turkish citizens, allegedly got drunk and verbally attacked crew members. They also refused to pay for the alcohol they consumed, local reports said.

The drunk passengers were removed the plane and will be sent back to Istanbul. The plane continued its flight to Rome after about an hour at Sarajevo International Airport. Endit
