The Rolling Stones want to play in Cuba

Xinhua, February 25, 2016 Adjust font size:

British rock band the Rolling Stones are looking to wrap up their Latin America Ole tour 2016 in Havana, some time between March 20 and 24.

"The mythical band dreams of playing a historic concert in Havana," Argentina's news agency Telam reported Wednesday, citing various sources, including local musicians close to the band, show producers in Cuba and members of the band's organization that helped set up concerts in Argentina.

But nothing has been confirmed. The agency says, "the group has not added new dates in any cities to its tour."

The Ole Tour kicked off in Santiago, Chile on Feb. 3 before going to Argentina's capital Buenos Aires and Montevideo, Uruguay. Three concerts were scheduled in Brazil on Feb. 24 and 27 and March 2 before the band heads to Peru, Colombia and Mexico, where the tentative final concert is slated for March 17. Endi
