Robinho to make Atletico Mineiro debut

Xinhua, February 25, 2016 Adjust font size:

Brazil international Robinho will make his Atletico Mineiro debut on Wednesday against Ecuadorian outfit Independiente Del Valle, in the second round of the Copa Libertadores group stage.

It will be the 32-year-old's seventh debut in professional football, having also represented the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and AC Milan.

In addition, he has enjoyed three spells at boyhood club Santos, as well as playing for Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, under the tutelage of former Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.

He played his first match for the side against European giants Bayern Munich, which ended in a stalemate.

Over his seven debuts the player's record is a mixed bag, having accumulated three victories, three defeats and a draw.

On two occasions, for Manchester City and his second spell at Santos, the forward has found the back of the net in his first outing. Endit
