Indian border guards seize suspicious Pakistani boat off western coast

Xinhua, February 24, 2016 Adjust font size:

India's border guards have seized a suspicious Pakistani boat off the coast of the western state of Gujarat, sources said Wednesday.

"The boat was seized from Harami Nala in the creek area of the Arabian Sea, along the Indo-Pakistan border of the state's Kutch region Tuesday. The boat was found abandoned in the area," sources said.

The crew of the boat has, however, escaped, leaving the boat, probably sensing that they have been tracked by the Border Security Forces personnel, they said.

A massive manhunt has been launched by security agencies in the area to track down any intruders who may have entered the country through the sea route, sources said. Endit
