Dollar moves to upper 111 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 111 yen level early Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 111.87-88 yen compared with 112.07-17 yen in New York and 112.13-15 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1022-1024 dollars and 123.32-33 yen against 1.1015-1025 dollars and 123.44-54 yen in New York and 1.1037-1039 dollars and 123.76-80 in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endit
