Tokyo shares end mixed by break

Tokyo shares erased gains in the morning session and ended mixed by break on Tuesday as sentiment here, although boosted by the rising oil prices, was held by yen's advance.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average inched up 15.39 points, or 0.10 percent, higher from Monday to 16,126.44.

In the contrast, the broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange edged down 1.81 points, or 0.14 percent, to 1,298.19. Enditem
