Over 10 casualties confirmed in traffic accident in N. Laos

More than 10 people were killed or injured in a traffic accident in the Lao province of Vientiane Sunday, police confirmed.

The accident involving two passenger vehicles occurred around noon local time near Kasi along a route popular with travellers.

The route connects Lao tourist destinations of Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng.

The authorities have yet to officially confirm the nationalities of the victims which are expected to include foreign holidaymakers. Endit
