New system to help Guangxi-ASEAN medical consultation

Xinhua, February 18, 2016 Adjust font size:

China Mobile is helping a hospital in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region establish an online system for local doctors to consult with their counterparts in ASEAN countries.

Under a deal signed with Guangxi Medical University, the Guangxi branch of China Mobile will provide technical support including 4G networks, cloud computing and big data technology, said branch manager Gu Xiong on Thursday.

The system will encourage exchanges between Chinese and ASEAN hospitals in medical education and consultations as well as academic and scientific research, said Zeng Zhiyu, president of the hospital.
