1st LD: Soldier killed in attack on military vehicle in southeast Turkey

One member of the Turkish security forces was killed Thursday when a military vehicle was hit by an explosion in southeast Turkey, local media reported.

The blast, in Diyarbakir province, occurred on Diyarbakir-Lice highway near a military outpost, Cihan News Agency reported.

The attack came one day after a car bomb killed at least 28 people and wounded 61 others in Ankara. Endit
