EU expresses condolences to families of victims killed in Ankara attack

European Union (EU) foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini here on Wednesday said the EU extends condolences to the families of the victims killed in the latest car bomb attack in Turkish capital of Ankara.
She said in a statement that the EU is with Turkey and its people in these difficult times and stand by all those who suffer from the consequences of such violence, and of terrorism.
"The EU wishes a speedy recovery to those injured. Our fullest sympathy goes to the Turkish people and authorities," she said.
At least 28 people were killed and 61 others wounded in a car bomb attack targeting the Turkish military in the capital Ankara on Wednesday. According to Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulus, the government has so far no information on who carried out the attack. Endit
