Xinhua, February 14, 2016 Adjust font size:

German veteran Felix Neureuther won a World Cup slalom on Sunday, more than 40 years since his father Christian reached the podium at the same venue.

It was Neureuther's first win this season, his 12th career victory.

Sweden's Andre Myhrer finished second, 0.05 seconds behind, and Austrian Marco Schwarz was third, 0.24 adrift.

German Fritz Dopfer dropped to fourth despite leading the first run.

Austrian Marcel Hirscher, who failed to complete the first run, remains the overall World Cup leader. Endi
