Singapore Airshow to highlight aerospace equipment, aerobatic maneuvers

Two days ahead of the opening of the Singapore Airshow, members of media are given a glimpse of the aerial display of Asia's largest aerospace and defence exhibition on Sunday.
This year's areal display include the French Air Force's Dassault Rafale, the U.S. Air Force's (USAF) F-16C/D Fighting Falcon, the Royal Malaysia Air Force's Su-30MKM as well as the Singapore Air Force's (RSAF) integrated aerial display team.
RSAF's team comprises an F-15 SG fighter jet and an AH-64D Apache attack helicopter. They will perform 11 aerobatic maneuvers, showcasing precision and coordination between different aircraft.
In addition, the Black Eagles from South Korea Air Force, known for their jaw-dropping acrobatic stunts, will be back to thrill the crowds with three more maneuvers added to their 2014 repertoire.
It will no doubt be the highlight of the performance, with their stunts coloring the sky with the symbol of the Korea's Taegukgi, the national flag of South Korea.
The airshow is only for trade professionals on Feb. 16-19 while it will be open to the public on Feb. 20-21.
In 2014, almost 10,000 people attended the Singapore Airshow. This year, visitors are able to see luxury business jets from Bombardier, Embraer and Gulfstream and take flight simulator rides. Enditem
