Indian stocks end flat after a choppy session

Indian stocks ended flat with a slight positive bias on Friday after a choppy session.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 22,986.12, 34.29 points or 0.15 percent up from previous close of 22,951.83, with a turnover of 896.78 crore rupees (about 131.0 million US dollars).

Indian stocks benchmark indices logged their biggest weekly drops since July 2009, with the Sensex poorer by 6.62 per cent for the week and Nifty50 down some 6.80 percent. Endit
