Greek Navy helicopter crashes in Aegean during exercise, three people missing

A Greek Navy helicopter crashed in the Aegean Sea during a military exercise on early Thursday and three people on board were missing, local authorities announced.

A rescue operation was underway to locate the two pilots and an engineer.

According to yet unconfirmed information by sources after the discovery of debris off the island of Astypalaia, the three men are most likely dead.

The helicopter disappeared from the radar at around 2:45 a.m local hour, according to the Navy. Endit
