Spanish stock market rises 2.73 pct, closes at 8,143 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 2.73 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,143.70 points, up from the 8,143.70 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session BBVA shares led rises climbing 6.25 percent, followed by IAG, Banco Popular, Banco Santander, Caixabank and Banco Sabadell that rose 5.96 percent, 5.80 percent, 5.15 percent, 4.21 percent and 3.44 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Gamesa shares led falls losing 2.81 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Mapfre, Acerinox, Indra A and OHL that lost 2.77 percent, 1.67 percent, 1.49 percent, 0.94 percent and 0.72 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 148.60 points, falling from the 152 points of Tuesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.7 percent. Enditem
