A total of 33 migrants drowned were found drowned on Monday after two boats capsized off Turkey's Aegean coast, Dogan News Agency reported.

At least 22 migrants were killed when a boat carrying migrants bound for the Greek island of Lesbos capsized off Turkey's Edremit Bay. The Turkish Coast Guard rescued four migrants from the sea. (Turkey-Migrants-Boats Capsize)

MAZAR-I-SHARIF -- Some four people were killed and 18 army personnel were wounded after a suicide bomber hit an Afghan army bus in the country's northern province of Balkh on Monday morning, an official said.

"Those killed included three army staff and the bomber while 18 army personnel aboard the bus were wounded by the blast," Provincial Government Spokesman Farhad Muneer told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Suicide Bomb)

RAMADI -- A total of 75 Islamic State (IS) militants were killed Monday as the Iraqi security forces recaptured two areas from the extremist militants in eastern and east of the flashpoint city of Ramadi, the capital city of Iraq's western Anbar province, a security source said.

The troops and allied paramilitary Sunni tribal fighters retook control of the Huseiba al-Sharqiya area, some 10 km east of Ramadi, after heavy clashes with IS militants, leaving some 43 IS militants killed and capturing seven of the extremist militants, the source told Xinhua. (Iraq-IS Clashes)

NEW DELHI -- At least five people were trapped in debris as a building, which housed a police station and parcel office inside a railway station collapsed at Hubli in the southern Indian state of Karnataka on Monday afternoon, said local TV channel India Today.
