Georgia beat Germany in Rugby European Championships

Hosts Georgia on Saturday defeated visitors Germany 59-7 in the first round of the 2016 Rugby European Championships.

The Georgian Lelos led halftime 26-0. For the whole match, Georgians led all the way to their home victory, overwhelming the Germans with 9 tries, while visitors only 1 try.

Georgia has now secured the top place in the group. The other teams of this group also include Romania, Spain, Portugal and Russia.

Georgia will next play Portugal away in Lisbon on February 13. Enditem
