Dollar in lower 118 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 118 yen level in early Tokyo trading on Thursday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.18-23 yen compared with 117.86-96 yen in New York and 119.97-98 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1090-1091 dollars and 131.08-09 yen against 1.1100-1110 dollars and 130.89-99 yen in New York and 1.0906-0908 dollars and 130.84-88 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Enditem
