Spanish stock market falls 2.51 pct, closes at 8,314 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 plummeted 2.51 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,314.50 points, down from the 8,528.70 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday's session, Sacyr and OHL shares led falls both losing 5.78 percent, followed by Gas Natural, Caixabank, Banco Sabadell and Banco Popular that dropped 5.51 percent, 4.89 percent, 4.57 percent and 4.54 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Acerinox shares led rises climbing 4.58 percent, only followed by ArcelorMittal and Gamesa that went up 2.86 percent and 2.47 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 127.50 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.5 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday. Endit
