Fidel Castro meets Uruguayan ex-president on regional affairs

Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro has met with Uruguayan former President Jose Mujica in Havana to discuss regional issues, local media reported Saturday.

During his meeting with Castro, Mujica expressed his concerns over the spreading Zika virus, according to a report on the Cubadebate website.

Mujica has been on the Caribbean island since the start of the week to attend a literary award ceremony and the International Conference "For everyone and for the good of everyone."

On Thursday, Mujica met with Cuban President Raul Castro and they discussed international and regional issues, according to Cuban television channels. Endi
