Xinhua, January 29, 2016 Adjust font size:

Cameroon midfielder Stephane M'Bia has joined the newly-promoted China Fortune FC from Turkey's Trabzon, the Chinese Super League soccer club announced on Friday.

The newly-promoted club based in Qinhuangdao in northern Hebei Province didn't disclose the transfer fee.

M'Bia, 30, used to play for Marseille in France and Sevilla in Spain. He joined Trabzon in 2015.

M'Bia, captain of the Cameroon national team, has played 58 times for the country, helping the team to the runners-up finish in 2008 African Nations Cup.

M'Bia had ever played in his new owner's home field before, one of the 2008 Olympic soccer venues, where M'Bia scored one crucial goal against Honduras in the Olympic group stage.
