Spanish stock market rises 0.56 pct, closes at 8,741 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.56 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,741 points, up from the 8,692.50 points of Tuesday.

Indra A shares led rises climbing 3.62 percent, followed by Iberdrola, Inditex, Abertis A, Endesa and Gamesa that rose 2.19 percent, 1.95 percent, 1.85 percent, 1.62 percent and 1.55 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Acerinox shares led falls losing 2.65 percent, followed by Repsol, IAG, Tecnicas Reunidas, Bankia and Merlin that lost 2.18 percent, 2.04 percent, 1.27 percent, 0.86 percent and 0.85 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.6 percent, showing no differences when compared with Tuesday, and Spain's risk premium closed at 117.50 points, falling by 2.5 points since Tuesday closing time. Endit
