Scott Rawles, coach of China's national freestyle moguls team, has won praises from his protegees.

The 54-year old American, formerly the coach of Sochi Olympics gold medalist Hannah Kearney, started to take over the Chinese team after the Sochi Winter Games.

Ning Qin, who won the national championship for five times in a row, said that Rawles has brought advanced techniques and training methods.

"I'm grateful to him for helping me improve techniques," said Ning. "Moreover, Scott is nice person. He often drives us to go shopping when we train abroad."

Chen Kang, who has won four consecutive gold medals in national championships, also expressed his gratitude to Rawles.

"When we train abroad, he is always the first to get up every morning to prepare the site for us. I'm impressed by his professionalism and devotion," said Chen. "I can only work hard to reward him." Endit
